Membership Secretary

Hello.


My name is Emma and I am SWAG's Membership Secretary. If you are considering joining us on a walk or would like more information about the group, please send me an email to swag02@googlemail.com


I am happy to help you out with directions, let the walk leader know you are coming and make sure someone is looking out for you on your first walk.


You are welcome to join us for up to three walks before being asked to become a member. I can send you an application form or you can join online. If you join online, please select "Somerset Walking & Activity" when asked to choose "My Local Group" from the drop-down menu, so you can become affiliated to our group.


Current members can renew their membership online too.


Annual membership fees are:


Individual £31.00 (first year reduced to £21.00 if new members pay by direct debit)
Joint £41.00 (first year reduced to £31.00 if new members pay by direct debit)
Reduced Individual £19.50
Reduced Joint £25.50

Becoming a member of SWAG, through the Ramblers, provides the following benefits:


  • Satisfaction that your support helps to continue the work of the Ramblers.
  • Regular programme of walks and social events, and a copy of the Ramblers Somerset Area newsletter.
  • The Ramblers yearbook.
  • Walk quarterly magazine.
  • Discounts in many outdoor stores.

If, after becoming a member, your address or personal details change, please send an email to let me know. You can also update your address on the Ramblers website too.
